The PI-REPEATER-4X complete system is everything you need to add a PI-REPEATER controller to your multi-repeater setup. This system comes fully assembled with a specially designed metal enclosure, inside is a PI-REPEATER-4X interface board, Raspberry Pi 4B (1GB Memory), 32GB microSD card (preloaded with SVXlink)
The PI-REPEATER-4X controller board includes a number of extra features that help with site integration, and expansion to other equipment and make the installation easier.
- Audio adjustments
- Level adjustments – 18 turn potentiometers allows for fine adjustments to both input and output audio channels. These level adjustment potentiometers can be adjusted thru the metal case
- Flat audio – Flat audio can be enabled with a simple slide switch, this is available independently for all input audio channels. These slide switches can be adjusted thru the metal case, no need to open
- GPIO Expander – 8@ 3.3V GPIO in a DSUB-15 connector interface, great for a variety of NO/NC type sensors, LEDs, control signals, etc.
- Relays – 2 relays are built in that support 2A each with either Normally closed (NC) or Normally Open (NO) back to Common (COM).
- Analog to Digital Converter – 8 Analog inputs (5V reference) through a DSUB-15 connector interface, great for low speed environmental sensors.
- Radio Signal interfacing
- COS (COR) and CTCSS inputs are to tolerant of 5Vdc~20Vdc type radio control signals that can be either active high or active low type. The active high/low mode is selected with a slide switch that is available outside the case.
- PTT interfaces provides an active low signal to the radio that is capable of handling up to 2A of current, plenty to handle several modern radios and relays. Signal pull up (resistor) is required at the radio side if needed.
- standardized DB9 pinout, compatible with many other repeater controllers (reuse existing radio cables)
- I2C (3v3 level) with 5V power supply accessory connector
- Serial port (3v3 level) with 3V3 power supply accessory connector
- 1PPS signal access from the GPS chip (shared with Serial port connector)
